You need to exercise if you want to be happy – it’s not a joke! Leading an active life makes your brain secrete the hormones of happiness. The effect is both mental and physical. You get the happiness and shape at the same time. You don’t have to become a sportsman and put your blood and sweat right away. Look at this as a lovely way to spend time with your friends! First of all, choose the activity which you enjoy. It is supposed to be fun, not a punishment!

If it’s hard for you to start, take the baby steps.

Instead of a short walk, go for a short march with your neighbours. Just don’t sit and look at yourself with dissatisfaction. Organise sport activities in the park together, where we could all actively spend time. It could be Nordic walking, yoga or anything you want to – it’s your call! Feel the endorphins in your body and see how addictive they might be. It doesn’t matter if you’re fit or fat, young or old. Sport is good for everyone. It’s worth knowing what you like doing. Don’t spend another day on the sofa – it won’t give you any fun!

Work towards your health, you cannot buy it.

Do you know this feeling when you look at your thin friend with jealousy? Do you think it’ all about the genes? Stop lying to yourself! It’s not! Start training with our Foundation! Support healthcare – there’s so much more to be done!

Healthy food choices are important for people at every age. It doesn’t really matter if you’re a sportsman, a businessman or a student. Food is our fuel – it makes our body ‘work’. The better quality of the fuel, the better functioning of the body. You wouldn’t put diluted fuel into your gas tank, would you? Who else would take a better care of your body if not you? Stop making excuses! By the way, it’s not about eating salads only. It’s about your health! Start taking care of yourself. If you’re tired with feeling unwell and being tired all the time – think it over. Maybe it’s all about your diet.

Start reading the labels and involve others in doing so. Join a discussion group and be aware of what you’re buying!

We encourage you to give the children €5, €10 or €20... For you it is not a significant amount of money – for them it is ‘to be or not to be’. The better quality of the fuel, the better functioning of the body. You wouldn’t put diluted fuel into your gas tank, would you? Who else would take a better care of your body if not you? Have you ever thought about how important disease prevention is if you are hoping to lead a long life? It is essential. Most of us do not even realise that many deceases could be avoided. These are not just empty words. It’s a statement based on statistics. Think about it. How many times have you ignored the first symptoms of an illness? Be honest with yourself. You have probably more often thought “What will be, will be. I have to go to work. Things don’t happen overnight – I have to do this, I have to do that...”. Being tired only made things worse. Have you been taking care of yourself properly? Do you know that 7-8 hours sleep is a must for a proper functioning of your body? Take it seriously. The scientists claim that being stressed and tired is the main cause of mental disorders as well as physical deceases.

When was the last time you saw your dentist, family doctor, your gynaecologist?

Doctors are human beings! They don’t bite. They save our lives. If you can’t motivate yourself, motivate someone else! You will help him/her and with your own eyes you will see that it’s never as bad as you imagine. As opposed to treatment, prevention is much easier and cheaper. Don’t forget that medicine is expensive, and it always impacts your system when you take them. Your health is in your hands! Don’t forget to support your loved ones in the fight for healthy and painless retirement.
